A Registered Charity. For the Community.

Taranaki is an epic spot to live and raise a family, we want to make it even better.

With support from our Foundation Partner, Goodwill Law, Goodwill Community Trust was formed to pursue “purposes beneficial to the community”.

In short, our goal is to make a direct & positive difference in the community. Simple.

From:

  • hosting & promoting local events;

  • supporting amateur sports teams or individuals; to

  • promoting local causes,

the beneficiaries of the Goodwill Community Trust are the people of Taranaki.

Currently ranked 25th in the world, Spencer is gunning to climb up the rankings and join the WLS Pro junior series in Australia. First he has to finish year 13 at New Plymouth Boys High School.

An absolute privilege and pleasure to be able to support Spencer with his journey. We wish him all the best and look forward to following his success.

The Mons Whaler

Meet the Mons Whaler. A local ‘supergroup’ of talent and quality humans.

The Mons Whaler are set to release an album and music video for our listening pleasure.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to support the guys with their efforts in mastering their first album.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for any opportunity to support our local artists!

Supporting Local

We have teamed up with Paul Rangiwahia, a proud local and recognised advocate for mental health and wellbeing to focus the spot-light on mental-health among the youth of Taranaki.

General mental distress, anxiety and depressive symptoms are highest amongst young people. Unfortunately, the proportion of New Zealanders with high levels of mental distress continues to trend upwards.

To ensure Taranaki remains a prosperous region for the future, we needn’t look further than the generation we are raising today. With Paul’s profile and our financial support, we aim to curb the trend and help ensure our youth feel comfortable to speak up, seek help & support from their community.

TheStudentHub.co.nz

Whilst COVID 19 has been busy disrupting learning across the country, New Plymouth Boys High School students David Marriott and Louis Muschin have been busy creating thestudenthub.

An online platform designed specifically to help make learning remotely easier!

Ka rawe lads, we love where your heads are at.

EZSoil.co.nz

EzSoil is a start up Young Enterprises Scheme business created by New Plymouth Boys High School students Jayden Clark and Ashkan Azarkish.

These two ‘budding’ young entrepreneurs have developed a smart plant monitoring system called Sprout.

Sprout is a module designed and built by the guys for indoor pot plants and measures temperature, sunlight, soil moisture and humidity. It then displays this information on a personalised webapp on your smartphone.

Hugely impressive work combined with a great idea. We love it and are proud to be sponsoring their efforts.

You can learn more about Sprout by following this link or watching this video. They are also looking for more funding and support, so if you are interested in helping the boys ‘grow’, be sure to reach out.
